Good ghosts? The buildups and rhythms are excellent. I'd really be curious how you pick/program the rhythms. You're really good at that. Everything works extremely well together and the breathers are fun and spread out just right. Love the simple bass line. Will listen to this more than once! Check out my latest song called f12

Hi kevmikwa pointed me in your direction after he listened to some of my efforts. I know from your bio that you don't like to be pigeon-holed in a genre but for me it was very interesting to be told that what I'm playing is "Downtempo". I never knew what genre to select when submitting a song. I can see that I'm going to learn a lot from listening to your stuff. It's excellent - writing and production - and you've got some great backing vocals going on too. Your sounds are so ... crisp. A pleasure to listen to. Nice to meet you, Soulmonk. Check out my latest song called Funeral

...and the sense of longing...
You're managing to capture very human feelings in these latest compositions with synth sounds that in other contexts would probably be kind of "cold"... They certainly don't end up cold in your hands...
The sense of human voices at the edge of things is perfectly in keeping with your theme...
You also manage to have combine longing with a groove... In all these pieces you seem to avoid emotional/aural cliche....
