A nice tune..... &mdash 01/30/07 - 03:49:02 AM
This was good to listen to but there was more than a hint of OMD coming through, even the sound of one synth in particular was OMD. (I am a fan of OMD, so no harm there).

The sound spectrum of the piece was very pretty, All ovoid tunnels with gradual fill-ins towards the end.

If you were to work on this piece some more I would say concentrate on the sound positioning (and volume levels) of the lead synths, as they sometimes were lost in the mix.

wow, you're rather perceptive! i love older OMD, but actualy haven't listened to them recently. so i was a little surprised when you mentioned OMD, but after listening with them in mind i can totally hear the influence.

and i do find it kind of tough to get the volume levels, etc., to come out right. i'm usually trying to mix with an imaginary vocal track in mind, and not as an instrumental. maybe i'm going about it the wrong way, tho.

throbbin'! &mdash 02/14/07 - 12:41:21 PM
that bass is so hip !
sounds more intact and well balanced compred to the original.. but the composition itself shines throughout both versions.

the beat was done very well too.. groovy!

As someone..... &mdash 05/03/07 - 09:10:41 PM
....whose musical taste is stuck in the 80s, I really like where this is going. I agree with the early OMD comparison. Very reminiscent of early 80s new wave. Some great synth beds. I'll be interested in hearing the vocals Morning Light comes up with.

This is very engaging. &mdash 09/12/08 - 05:49:39 PM
I like that repetitive rubber band thrumming. Really inventive and infectious. Great dance music. Thanks.
