Hi Fran, great to hear you in yet another style.. this must be the most Carlos-y one I've heard from you. Sounds like a hot summer night gig, people are dancing .. for hours .. and the band keeps playing and playing .. overtime .. just of the joy of it. And the mojo's working. Kind of Jeff Beck meets Satriani meets Santana stylistic phrasing in this piece. I enjoyed the thematic development, articulate phrasing tone and feel. Very nice playing very good song! I would have liked a little more development with the steel drum part as it seemed to require a bit more reference to the piece as a whole... if only for the sake of continuity, did not quite tie in as well as the other parts. Other than that exceptional song according to my ears.... for whatever that is worth. [ Reply to This ]
