Description:
We're very pleased to offer a warm welcome to our guest vocalist, Choirbox. It was quite the special day when she agreed to collaborate on this song, and we literally could not have found a better talent to suit this track. Her voice and lyrics transformed this song in way otherwise unachievable.

We have no single category to fit this song into. Like many of our songs, this is a true hybrid of electronica and rock. "Progressive rock" was suggested by a commenter, so we'll go with that.

Vocals/lyrics: Choirbox
Music/keyboards: John
Mixing/guitars/bass: Jay

Lyrics:
Draw me to you
Drift us away
You are a puff of smoke
in an otherwise clear room
Caught up in this cloud
I follow you

You breathe daylight
in the darkest parts of me
Cast your shadow
In your trust, you cover me

One day your promise gave me wings
But now we only meet in dreams
Because you stopped believing
Hope and faith are costly things
And I can't afford to dream
Because you stopped believing

Draw me to you
Remember the way
You are a world of doubt
Spinning in disbelief
Love and wonder
Wander away from me

I am collapsing
into distant memory
You wanted something real
All I could offer was a dream

The mouth is wide, the river deep
Reality, flow to the sea
Fighting current, make my way
My way back to One Day.....

recording - choirbox has an attractive voice.Enjoyed the agressive guitar/drum contrast in what I'd take to be the chorus.
