Description:
A tribute to the lack of snow in new england this year 07.This tune was recorded during a long long snow storm that lasted for what i remember as days in 06. I can almost feel it on my neck. The kids left me alone just long enough foe me to let out my jazz. Then they wanted in so i put on the mic and decided not to edit them out. Now the tune takes me to that snowed in feeling that we all kinda like. It puts everything on hold ... and life sits still for a moment. The kids just started to here ther voices on the speakers and my little one (2year old KK) just kept saying snowing daddy...snowing daddy. I hope you all can feel the feeling of snowing daddy. Just cause we don't have any.
Going skiing on man made tomorrow.

This one works very well for me. The ambient sounds gives an extra dimension, and sets a peaceful mood.
The way you hold it together with the quiet guitar, piano, bass and drums is brilliant. And the way you play them is just right. Never showing off, just making a bed of sounds... and it is a soft and warm one.

I was snowed in, in the warmth of my little recording corner and sorrounded by my loving kids. I was very relaxed and this just came out of me. Thank you for checking in. Glad you liked it.

jazzy feel. It does have that unhurried, sitting around the house on a snowy day feeling. I don't get any snow where I am in California, oh, but I rememeber snowy days when everything stopped and you'd just watch the snow falling outside. Really enjoyed listening to this. Thanks, [ Reply to This ]

This reminds me of Van Morrisons 'Coney Island' lovely ethereal feel, languid and comfortable. I'm waiting to hear your voice, I know you have an Irish twist to your life and I want to hear it falling out of the music. I want the blas and the magic of words to finish this off.

You were one of the first artist i found on Mjs. I am real shy after hearing such great stuff. i am just now getting some confidence with my vox. give me a little more time and i promis to come around with some vocals tunes. I have em but need to re-record them in GB. They are old with out all the tec stuff and were very private in the past. This posting stuff has me recoiled in the corner kinda...latley anyway.
I've been working on some stuff just not finished yet.

...I've pretty much had it with Winter (I wrote "Ode To Spring" in defiance!) I do like this tune. Light...like wafting flakes of snow. (We haven't really had much here in central Oregon either. Just a lot of cold rain!) Keep em coming man!

I had the kids play around as the snow was falling. I was gonna edit them out but fell in love with the innocents of it all. Thanks you for such kind words.

This is great. Just what the doctor ordered. I sure miss the tranquility, peace and feeling of wellbeing that the snow brings. This is very relaxing. I can't wait to go north again. Far North! Great job.
