it really kicks in &mdash 08/02/04 - 02:44:54 AM
about 1/6 of the way through with the bit after the
dismantled sarod (not complaining). this part is lovely and
dancy and sounds awesome. the beat is kickin'. hm
sounds a little New Order after a bit. i think if you crank
up the bridge kinda section some more, really make it
HUGE you'll have a really great song here. it needs some
extra "oomph" and "wow!" and it needs to end with a
bang! (not to say it shouldn't fade.. i just mean like.. with
a strong part.) beginning's a little iffy but i like that tiny
noise in there that sounds kind of like insects. some
cymbal noises out of place in there... it's when the beat
comes in that the insect noise appears - really neat. sarod
is atonal in a cool way although not necessarily appealing
to everyone. ahhh here's the great part. (listening a 4th
time!)
anyway.. looking forward to hearing more.

leads dont work for me &mdash 08/02/04 - 09:51:47 AM
the beats all worked for me but the leads just didnt quite do it for me. the pads were alright. mix a bit distorted in some places. looking forward to hearing more from you. I'm ok with the fadeout, but make it longer, seems to end on an odd beat.

bangin track &mdash 08/16/04 - 06:30:59 PM
Agree with penguinsocks - reminiscent of New Order in places - played at BBQ for friends from work - kicked off more than a fair bit of the commercial stuff that was played
