Fred, this is exactly what I expected from you. 'Remix ma vie' very litterally this time. Super creative approach which turns the original song completely upside down, inside out. Emotions have become off-time rhythms and melodies are turned into dissonant sound sketches. This takes the hand of a musically polyglottish mixmaster to accomplish the task. You are and you did. Merci mon ami.

I like that way you have laid the beats to give Walters words an extra punch. All the elements that you chose blend perfectly well and create a somewhat dissonant sound...accentuating his bitter-sweet lyrics. nice! [ Reply to This ]

Heh! You went much, much further with the remix than I did (http://www.macjams.com/song/28860). This is a great mix! Industrio-gothic with liberal dashes of quirky electronica. I love the wispers of the accordian you kept to shadow the original. The tempo here is tricky - it creates a whole new strain of tension. [ Reply to This ]

What a creative approach. I just listened to the original and it's amazing how different they are. It sounds like a completly different song. The bass just goes right through you. I love the synth sounds as well. Walter's voice lends very well to them. This is a perfect example of why macjams is such a great community. Well done!

Ah, those chirpy filters sounds like birds. I like the vocals. Wow data, this is really unique. The snare hit is sooo crisp. 8-bit dreaming.
