Description:
Peacepiano: Piano, Bass, Artwork
Wildcat: Lyrics, Vocals,Drum Loops, Bass, Mix
Lyrics:
Translation:
You brought some flowers.
You and me, we both and the night.
Its just 20 past 10 and you shortly vanished to buy some cigarettes.
We spend a nice evening and i thought you stay over night.
At 20 past 10 you vanished to buy some cigarettes. I never saw you again.
Come back to me, it was so nice.
Come back, you can not go! Come back it was so nice! But i just saw you from behind!

Thanks To Wildcat &mdash 02/14/07 - 09:04:49 AM
You did a great job putting this together. I was surprised and very pleased when I heard this the first time with the vocals. [ Reply to This ]

Some very cool elements blending here. Its especially neat to see how you guys both contributed to the music bed. Its of one mind. Wildcats vocals cover the edge and center beuatifully. Well done! [ Reply to This ]

Its good to hear that we don't show too much style tension :) Wildcat communicated what she wanted very well. [ Reply to This ]
Damn... &mdash 02/14/07 - 10:58:37 AM
This sounds ace. Really low down and sexy. I felt like I was listening to Film Noir.
That Bass sound totally kicks and the vox are perfect for the laid back smoky feel of the music.
Superb collaboration sounds like it all cant together in a basement Jazz club in Hamburg somewhere ;)

It was nice to work with you Bill.
I am looking forward what the other random collaber will bring up. [ Reply to This ]
Yes ..... &mdash 02/14/07 - 05:22:33 PM
... it definitely sounds like you two were on the same page on this one. I was wondering how all the random collabs would turn out - knowing that some of the blendings matched people with very different musical tastes ... I agree with earlier comments - sounds like you two have done this before! It was a successful match in my books. Wildcat's vocals seems to flow easily over the soundbed. [ Reply to This ]

Very Euro-cool!
I dig the downtempo nature. Urgent and sultry at the same time.
Excellent collaboration! [ Reply to This ]

From that opening piano, through the sexy vocals to the end, this is cool and jazzy. A real treat. Kudos to you both. [ Reply to This ]

Thanks for commenting. Wildcat came up with the basic plan, I put together the foundation and she put together these amazing vocals! [ Reply to This ]
Great stuff &mdash 02/18/07 - 04:12:47 PM
Reminds me of some tracks from the Run Lola Run soundtrack. The foreign (to me) language is uber sexy. Fantastic keys, Mr. Piano. Great collab -- amazing what you get when you take two unsuspecting musicians. This is really great! [ Reply to This ]

Weimar flavors &mdash 02/18/07 - 07:07:28 PM
and spacy roadhouse piano make for an unsettling and satisfying listen. I particularly like the progression (with a beautiful back-up vocal) at "wir hatten einen schonen....". The whole song walks a fine, rare line between throw-away slickness and late-night psychodrama. Great work. [ Reply to This ]
Fine Line &mdash 02/25/07 - 03:12:58 PM
Thanks for the comment. Always happy to hear when we are on the correct side of that line. I think having more than one person's input adds to any song, by myself it is only too easy to slip onto throw away side. [ Reply to This ]
Very cool &mdash 02/21/07 - 02:07:12 AM
This is another song with great style, and I love anything done in another language. Really cool song!

All the collaborations sound so good and pulled everyone outside their usual habits. Working with other musicians is a great way to improve your craft! [ Reply to This ]
