Well, I'm happy now...!I love the SISTERS... my first collab with them. Thanks Anne & Marty! : ) Music & Production by Sil-VER Lyrics & Lead by Marty Ross Vining Harmonies by Anne Cozean © Sil-VER/SISTERS 2007 Lyrics:
Play me a lullabyPlay until I sleep Play me a lullaby Play until I sleep Little men on horses Took him off to war Madness coming closer Shut and lock the door Pray me a golden night Pray until I sleep Pray me in golden light Pray until I sleep Lock the door Who’s there Lock the door Who’s there Someone lock the door Stay for a little while Stay until I sleep Stay for a little while Stay until I sleep Bodies in slow motion Underlying roar Madness coming closer Shut and lock the door Play me a lullaby Stay until I sleep. |

This Track is really quite unusual. It's a testament to Sil-VER that it works at all the two components (Voice and music) are so different. Especially in the first half of the track where the vox sound quite straight. On first listen I wondered if it was really working but as you progress through the song everything binds together and the "lock the door" bridge really helps this.
My favourite bit is the tortured guitar in the last 1/4 of the track.
