Description:
Ok so here is a little idea that I came up with for a guitar riff. I didn't have any other parts and wasn't feeling in the mood to be writing any so I just extended it and wigged out over the chords. The solo is all 1 take so some parts don't quite fit. I also discovered how to auto pan stuff as you will find out about 1/2 way through ;) Who knows I may take this one and develop it a bit more but for now its my Ode to St Valentine x x

Odious Ode &mdash 02/14/07 - 09:23:04 PM
i like that tinge of dark to the mood in the quiet first section before the pause and when hell breaks loose. nice changeup with the blast of guitar juices! ah yes, auto pan, there it is - wonderful waterfalls of fluid guitar. the quieted out is perfect. excellent ode! anne

Hell yeah - this rocks &mdash 02/14/07 - 09:41:27 PM
great chops man - no complaints from me on development when the juice is this good. Well done - I coulda listened to another round of soloing before it's over - but I guess that's a comment of development ain't it? My point is - it doesn't have to get fancy - I just want more.

I Like It ----- &mdash 02/15/07 - 11:09:50 AM
Robin, You have a nice playing style I enjoy. Being a guitar player myself I really appreciate the use of the crybaby and crunchy distortion. I'm looking forward to you future postings.

Thanks for sharing,

mvh : )

Crucnch! &mdash 03/01/07 - 12:19:55 PM
A great, big, slobbering crunchy sound on this - fantastic playing, and I really like the panning of the guitars. Only complaint is the drums sound a bit feeble amongst all the guitars. Nice track, and a sweet comedown at the end.

Steve
