I like a lot of what is going on here and I would not make any negative comment except for the fact that this is first rate stuff. Come to think of it this is not really a negative comment but more of a question or a wonderment. Why did you choose to have instruments wander so much across the stereo sound stage? My general feeling while listening on phones is that it makes it hard for me to focus and concentrate on the instrument that is taking the lead because it is wondering. Understand that I think the "headphone mix" is increasingly important with the popularity of Ipods and the like and that some tricks that may make an interesting mix when listening in a standard room setting with two speakers may be distracting when listening on headphones. I hope this makes sense to you and that you understand the spirit of "macjams friendship" in which these comments are offered. Bill Check out my latest song called Try Harder
