Welcome back!
Oh yeah, there's that sound...Nice arrangement. Nice upbeat performance. I used to chant that chorus in my youth so a bit of deja vu for me in this one (there's a snoutful of syntax for ya!). An instant fave!

Be well!

Honestly - I wasn't sure at first
but then this song really grew on me - guess I let go and let it in. The mix of slightly detuned strings has a cool sound. I guess that's the dulcimer against guitar. Nice to meet ya.

I'm not sure
about the detuned strings on this one I must admit. But on the other hand it's rather catchy - great hook and I like those drums...

Thanks, Peter
The detuned strings were a product of a couple of things, mostly me being rushed! This song was done for the RPM Challenge, which is like the similar novel thingie -- come up with 10 songs or 35 minutes of music in a single month: February.

The other physical contributing factor to out-of-tuneness is that my lap dulc is really a cheapie with wooden tuning pegs and can be tough to get in to very precise tuning. I did better elsewhere -- check Waxahatchee to hear it more moral -- but it can be a struggle to get it there. Also, I was thinking about bands like the Fall, and old Rolling Stones; there is some great music out there that is the porduct of a more or less casual approach to consonance...

Thanks for the comment.
