i think it is the most beautiful tune, a photograph, a name of the song and a description, i have ever seen on macjams. i am touched and emotional and very happy for you enrique. it is a sweet melody written by a purity of your heart, expressing all the joy and happiness of love and being in love. you made my day, truly.
i love it paja

ps: i would just maybe let the last chord sound a tiny bit longer, because it has little bit feeling that it's suddenly cut off. it is such a lovely melody that the listener wants to float on chords of your gentle music for little longer. but it is just a tiny tiny comment :)

impressive! &mdash 02/17/07 - 09:10:20 AM
Wow - I wish I could play piano :-) That was a nice song, and really cool change of pace in the middle and then coming back to the original melody near the end. I think a little reverb, maybe a smidge of a hall rever, would really give it some increased depth. Really nice !

there is nothing more relaxing than playing piano in a quiet evening, and that is how I composed this little melody.

I have been playing with LE and tried to increase the reverb....the problem is there are some many parameters (too many knobs!) that I go crazy trying to find the perfect sound....I still haven't found it, but will keep on looking! thank you so much for your suggestions.

Cyndi must hold a special place in your heart to inspire you to write such a sweet tune for her Enrique. Quite lovely with tender playing.
Best,

Beautiful piece of neo-romantic music. &mdash 02/19/07 - 05:59:11 PM
You have a nice touch on the keyboard. This has some very 1800's 'Romantic' touches, but also some nice modern chord progressions. It's really very engaging. I would agree that a touch of reverb would add some warmth to the sound - Don't add too much, but a little would make this a bit more dreamy. Cyndi is very lucky to have a musical poet like yourself who is in love with her!

is a lucky girl to have a romantic on her hands! your classical bent is evident in every note here, and that's a very good thing indeed. (I'm hoping that you can coax the $300 from your wallet into the purchase of Ivory software. You certainly deserve to have the best and you will be amazed at how it inspires you.)... Lovely tune and concept for this piece. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
