Absolutely Beautiful
A perfect blend, your voice with Cori's guitar, smooth and so warm and lovingly lovely. This one took my breath away.
Thank You Both for bringing this together and sharing!

Oh how I love your voice
Oh how I love your voice, it is soo ful of love and care. Such a heartfelt dedication to a daughter. I recommend all listeners to listen to stay on till the last lines; the 'He just sees freedom..'-part. You have a gorgeous feel!

Also I am impressed how you have managed to create a singable piece to the original track. I imagine that could not have been easy, because the original track has strange and flucutating rythms and many uneven bars, (which were not intentionally made but came becasue it was an unplanned improvistation).

I am so glad that you wanted to take on working on this one, and I am also very proud to be part of the result! You have added so much beauty to it! Thank you Steve!

right on!
You nailed this one for sure. Impressive how you have managed to fit the words and a melody along Cori Anders guitar. And your voice is very good. The long notes you sing shows a vocal control not many can show for.

Your daughter will be proud of this:)

Wow, Steve!
It's like Cori wrote the melody for these lyrics. Beautiful song for your baby girl/college student. Great singing and lyrics to Cori's great guitar. Rebeccca will be honored and moved by this.

Amazing
Wow! What a great voice! The whole thing just feels so right, as if planned as a duet from the start, as if you are both in the same room, making eye contact with one another to make sure you are totally in sync at all times. I think it would surprise the heck out of people to learn that such was not the case! Great job here; give yourselves a pat on the back.

Blended excellence
This is a fine coupling of guitar and voice to create a whole song. Good job. There are some magic moments in this.

Superb....
... heart of a very talented, loving father singing out to his little girl... who, grown up, now is about to make her own way. I have three grown daughters and have recorded and posted songs to them... this brings back the memories of those songs and that time in their lives as they were about to get married.

God bless you and your daughter. Beautifully sung (improvised, I take it) as if the lyrics were always intended to be for Curry's wonderful guitar piece. Thanks.

Brave man!
Lovely vocals Steve. I had a listen to Curry's original with a mind to putting more onto it but was scared off by the perfection of his beautiful guitar track. You've done a good job with adding vox here - I can really relate to your lyrics - seems like just a little while ago that our daughter left home for uni (and all that entails). Don't want to scare you, but we're now grandparents and she has a double degree - time really starts flying once they leave home :)
Like your voice.
Cheers,
Neil

emoting for the universe to hear
Ah, the joy and emptiness of being a parent helping guide the natural progression of child to independent adult... such a sweet touching set of words, so nicely sung and set in Curry's masterful piece of music here. Well captured, Steve! Rebecca will cherish this more and more over the next few years, I am sure.

Impressive
You guy's complement each other beautifully note for note.
Adding to my favorites! You both really captured a nice sound.

Are you guy's planning to expand the song? New tracks? Bass? Drums? etc.. No doubt this piece could stand on its own, but just curious.

Congratulations,
Chris
