Gorgeous Capture of Guitar and Vocal.

The Guitar is so rich. Now I Really want a Martin again.

Doubled Vx is very effective and broadens the Sound Stage.

Very FINE Listen.

Good One &mdash 02/19/07 - 03:31:52 PM
This has a very nice flow to it. The guitar is especially interesting. Not a steady alternating bass but more like a classical approach. Sets up a different sounding rhythm than one usually gets with fingerpicking.

You do this so well Steve - lovely rich sounds. I've been playing with a demo of Ozone 3 and am finding it really gives good results - 3 days to go before I have to shell out $$$$$$$$s - YIPES!!!
Thanks,
Neil

Yes the Ozone 3 is a really cool plug in...so easy to use - do you have a favourite preset yet?

I have a few already Steve, but the "Rock Master - 4 band dynamics" seems to work best on my music. Loud and alive.

80's flashback &mdash 02/25/07 - 09:37:00 AM
Heh, love the Spandau/Frankie line (did i hear that right?).
As per, the pickin' and singing are great ... you have a really distinctive voice, which is rare in these anodyne, pop-idol days.

Lovely track, Steve ... you sing it like someone who's had the heart broken too many times.

Gorgeously plangent... &mdash 02/27/07 - 09:00:31 PM
...as all good music should be. Very fine playing and singing (particularly liked the near whispered harmony).

You dropped in to my place... &mdash 04/02/07 - 10:49:28 PM
...and now I'm at yours.

"Don't you follow me..."

Haven't I heard that, before...and said it, as well...

Besides the natural beauty of the song, I really like the way you separate the vocals, using the stereo effect.

Very nicely done...simple/subtle...very, very touching.

What a beautiful sounding guitar. What is it?
