Description:
I turned on the iBook with the pinhole mic and caught this little jam with my granddaughter Julia (turns 4 in April) as she was trying out a blues harp.... At one point see was playing the harp while she reached out and started plunking on the keyboard!
I am having a blast visitng with Julia and her brother Dominic.
Lyrics:
Well, I was playing my geetar,
And Julia was playing the harp.
She had her left hand on the piano keys,
And she was playing out her heart.
She is playing the blues everyday,
Julia and Topper
That's what I say...

to pile up the musical credits eh? May have to start her own page . . .
Course, she'll need a little better back-up band :) [ Reply to This ]

Wish you could see my smile all the way through this song. You two are a great team. This is also evident from the photo, the film .. and of course the music. [ Reply to This ]
Special ... and extra special &mdash 03/02/07 - 10:32:21 AM
Jammin' with Grandpa - totally modern cool : >
I had one grandparent that was musical - my dad's dad played the violin (and actually made his own handcrafted violins). As a little shaver I remember him playing for us, and occasionally playing along with one of his grandchildren on piano, but nothing ever got recorded for posterity - so the only thing left of those special moments are some fragments of memory. I think you taking the time to jam with your grandkids is special, but to also record and make videos with them is extra special. [ Reply to This ]
