Description
Well wrote it five years ago, just about moving on from the self-defeatism and negativity we get ourselves into from time to time. Sounds almost like a prayer song, but it's just about the road of life in general, really. About passing through dark phases and resolving your way through negative habits, and how good a feeling it is when you gain a fresh perspective on life.

Lyrics
It’s been a long road, but
I’m coming back home
Trudging through teary mud
And shit out of luck
Seeing your beacon for the first time
I’m not talking symbols or hymns or rhymes
Just following the good path
And I’ll meet up with my fate at last
(I’ll meet up with my fate at last)
(I’ll meet up with my fate at last)
Lazy day’s behind me
Good times at my feet
Picking up, lost maps,
Scouting a new path
Even if you weren’t there at the end of this road
I’ll still grow old
Seeing your beacon for the first time
I’m not talking symbols or hymns or rhymes
Just following the good path
And I’ll meet up with my fate at last
(I’ll meet up with my fate at last)
(I’ll meet up with my fate at last)
Thrown those old demons out the window..
Watch them fly away
They scream, they scream, they scream to get back in
No way!
Fly------ away
They scream, they scream, they scream to get back in
No way
I’m coming back home
Trudging through teary mud
And shit out of luck
Seeing your beacon for the first time
I’m not talking symbols or hymns or rhymes
Just following the good path
And I’ll meet up with my fate at last
(I’ll meet up with my fate at last)
(I’ll meet up with my fate at last)
Lazy day’s behind me
Good times at my feet
Picking up, lost maps,
Scouting a new path
Even if you weren’t there at the end of this road
I’ll still grow old
Seeing your beacon for the first time

Just following the good path

Really enjoyed hearing some heartfelt music like this. Really great lyrics and sung from the heart. That's what it is all about.
