Encircled by the electric craziness. Wow, this was a cool trip; I wasn't expecting the vocals and beat to kick in like that, but they really added a few extra dimensions to the electric paradise that started at the beginning. Very cool.

thanks, man! this piece wrote itself. i was planning on recording a re-work of one of my other songs, but something took over. next thing i knew, i had a whole new song completed. maybe it was a transmission channeled from mars. ;)

First, the negative... for some reason, the voice samples seemed to detract from the awesome sound bed. They seemed a little over-dramatic and cheesy. However, the bitcrushed version of the vox at the VERY end was sort of cool, and maybe if you started with almost unintelligible bitcrushed message, and as the song progressed, slowly morphed it into her voice (as the Martians began to fine-tune their appearance for us) that might be intriguing. But that aside, this music and your choice of spacey-sounding electronic instrumentation is quite delectable.. lots of little touches, nice little bass throbs. Nice work here!

definately appreciate your comments, drakonis. i agree with you about the vox being a bit cheesy, but that's what i like. it ain't a burger if it don't have some cheese, eh? and it was actually my intent to have a warped vocal lead in, and that's what i tried to do with the "5, 4, 3, 2, 1" robotic vocal... but i guess it didn't work out the way i thought. i can send you an instrumental if you want. think you'd want to remix it at all?
thanks,

love the words...
i like the vocals in it....nice epic...
trippers track!
EZamor
yeah, i think it's probably the "trippiest" thing i've done so far. tho i'd love to try a trippier track that's somewhere along the lines of, say, chem bros/crystal method/prodigy. so many ideas, but so little time!
thanks for listening!
best,

I was enmeshed in a violet cloud listening to this

Amazing song! I was lost in all that electro-cotton wool at the beginning, and then that voice (I thought it was Ann Magnuson at first) broke my world apart. I'm on my third listen now, totally digging all the passing elements. Outstanding!
