Description:
It's great! Where ever it comes from.

Lyrics:
Luv Luv Luv

She feels like woman

Whenever he's around

He feels like man when

He's in her hands

Is it in his head?

Is it in his heart?

Is it in his underwear?

Does he really care?

But still the birds fly in a blue sky

When he thinks of her name

Dreams of her again

And the birds fly in a blue sky

When he thinks of her name

And he hopes she feels the same

And he says

Luv Luv Luv Luv

Don't come from god above

When he contemplates the contents

Of the big girls blouse

He's been so full of shit

Since he met the girl

She's been full of himself

Since he changed her world

Is it from space?

Is it from the lord?

Is it from the launderette?

She hasn't got a clue as yet.

But still the birds fly in a blue sky

When she thinks of his name

Dreams of him again

And the birds fly in a blue sky

When she cries out his name

And he knows she feels the same

And he says

Luv Luv Luv Luv

Don't come from god above

When he contemplates the contents

Of the big girls blouse

This is such a great song! I had to listen to it twice and I am gonna download it. I really enjoyed listening to it. Sounds pretty damn clean to me..reminds me of a number of brit bands I have loved over the years...brit bands that I cant seem to name now lol. Thanks for posting this.

I am new so my next stop is to listen to more of your music!

Squeeze! &mdash 08/04/04 - 05:32:55 PM
This song-the lyrics, your voice, the music- reminds me of early squeeze. A big fav of mine. That is all for now lol

Ronnie

Oh and I wonder if my votes for you just bumped my song out of the "weekly picks" pane. Eh it was worth it. Thanks again!

Thanks Ronnie
I remember Squeeze from my youth, great band
I'm not sure I'm worthy. But you comments are very welcome
and thanks for getting me onto the weekly pics.

Cheers

I had fun listening to this one &mdash 08/04/04 - 09:46:16 PM
Fun track! I like the upbeat sound you've created. Not
so sure I'd render this track explicit though. A bit
risque, but no more than a Britney Spears song... and
I'm not comparing you to Britney, heh!

Thanks for you comment. I like upbeat! Britanny eh? My figure is almost the
exact reverse of hers..

Are you using some sort of tone-correction module? In
fact, it's not a question... it's an accusation. You are.

But anyway, it sounds neat. Not because of the
'enhancement'.... but despite it.

WAIT &mdash 08/06/04 - 02:10:09 PM
It's a fair cop! I've been messing around with the demo of Melodyne and it's
utterly amazing. I can knock out multipart hamonies really quickly and it
really takes the pain out of my singing (for me and the listener). I used it to
construct the horn solo as well. I do feel a bit uncomfortable 'cheating' like
this bu, hey, I didn't actually play the drums on this track either.

Nice tune &mdash 08/05/04 - 12:56:57 AM
You get a good pop-ish sound there. Well done.

good production.. I'd love to hear how you mixed this.

I also agree its not really worth the explicit rating.

Thanks for the positive comments. The thing I love about Garagebang
is the master track effects. I use the jazz lounge setting and insert the AU
Multichannel Compressor set to 'smooth and fast' (I think) and that makes
everything sound pretty great. If you're interested in any of the track settings
I used, let me know and I'll send them accross.
You've done some great stuff on this site your self so feel quite honoured.

crystal clear &mdash 08/05/04 - 10:51:11 AM
Great material, especially well-produced! The mix is
crystal-clear. Amazing, actually. The accompaniment
balances your vocals perfectly, and the quality of your
voice suits the lyrics very well.

This song reminds me of the pop-style circa 1997 (which
still sounds good!) a la Hootie and the Blowfish....

Good brass mix. It's challenging to make them sound even
halfway authentic, and you did very well.

crystal clear &mdash 08/06/04 - 02:35:22 PM
Hi cameron thanks for the really kind comments.
Used to like Hooty and the Blowfish they did some great summery songs.
For the brass solo I nicked the first two trumpet notes from the Carpenters
'Close to You' put them into a demo of Melodyne I have and built it there
then reimported it back to GB. The clarity in the mix is down to GB and its
multichannel compressor. I love it!

Whoo Hooooo!! &mdash 08/06/04 - 02:45:04 PM
Thank you very much you are very kind. I though this song up while going to
the bank to get some cash. Its probably the only song that came into my
mind complete. As soon as I got home I grabbed my guitar and it was just
there, the chords, tune and most of the words. If only it could be like that
always. Looking forward to your next effort.

Cheers

Perfect 10 &mdash 12/11/04 - 09:06:55 AM
Combining everything that goes into the definition of entertainment, this is a 10. Anyone that can work "big girls blouse" into a great lyric. I also appreciate how you spelled love, making into into what you intend instead. Excellent all around.

They Might Squeeze Giants &mdash 12/04/06 - 01:34:55 PM
I've had this tune in my favorites for ages and just now decided to comment. As my comment title suggests, I think this song has the sound of a bizarre combination of Squeeze and They Might Be Giants.

I can't make up my mind about the vocal pitch correction. My tendency is to prefer a more natural sound, but there is something rather engaging about the slight computer-ness of it. It's almost like the Mac's text-to-speech Bruce voice is singing his love for Victoria.
