Description:
Part parody, part tribute, a complete hoot for me. A Nordic Metal song with lyrics copped from a romantic poem by Bjarni Thorarensen I found on a website called Nordic Prosody. I hope no metal fans are offended by my naive efforts with the form.

Lyrics:
Who rides with such fury
A fiery charger
Through the high heavens
A horse snow-colored?
The mighty steed
From his mane tosses
Frozen flakes
That flutter earthward.
Glowing glitters

His gray armor
On his shoulder there hangs
A shield ice-covered
On his head he wears

The fearful Aegis
Frosty helmet

The soft Earth grows firm
In his fierce embraces
The tears she wept
Are turned to diamonds
And her mourning garb
To a mantle of ermine.

To the frozen Northland
He broods in the heavens

Through sunlit meadows

i don't know how it is i catch your stuff first. lucky i quess. thunder driven beat lightening guitar, snow blind synths, smooth seal skin vocals, ice synth solo. those where some wicked guitar lines! nice! king of the castle.

I feel like opening my shirt, and singin about lemon sQueezin (broke lower case Q) it's amazing how often Q pops up. Never thought I'd miss it that much - but I do.
PS - I didn't "play" a lick of this tune - it's the monkey's with typewriters project - all loops.

... this is a mighty track! I get the parody lyrically, but musically this is great (although, okay, the solos are pretty out there). Really like the electro bass - it makes a good counterpoint to all the electric rock!

Where do you find the time, Bud ... you're output (quality and quantity) is admirable?!

God of Thunda! Eddie Van Hamster licks and all! It does indeed rawk. My only comment would be the bass synth is a little wimpy for a ball grabbin monster such as this. Love the James Bond big horns at the end. Gives the whole thing a tone of cataclysm and grandiosity. Well done.

and came back to your comments. Thanks guys for dropping by. As I said earlier - this is a 100% GB jampacks creation. Nuthin but loops. I considered replacing the bass with my own playing, but went with it as is. No way I can play guitar like this, but I loved being virtual Edddie for a while.

Although this is metallic the vocalizings reminfd me of Country Joe MacDonald! Really great stuff BUD! Well played with good production. Love those smokin lead riffs!

Country Joe is one of the few acts I really remember seeing at Woodstock - a nice compliment. BTW - I didn't "play" anything on this one. All loop exxperiment.
