Description
Technically this is of the same formula as my previous two Dance mixes. The difference lies in the loops used and the tempo.

This is a short mix. Maybe not sweet.

The title becomes fairly obvious as you (or if you can) listen all the way through.

(The bass line is mighty powerful. Watch out for those extended Woofers, or your 'bins' might meet in the middle if you have headphones on).

You have been warned.

Thanks for stopping by.............
Thanks for stopping by and listening.

I use, these type of mixes, sets of loops and mix and match for any 'right sound'.

Buy any computer music magazine with any samples on and then see what you can come up with.

Paul.

No secrets here......
Thanks for listening to the mix and here is the answer to your question.....

I buy Computer Music magazine every month and the magazine is supplied with a DVD containing many things including a Samples directory. I listen to these and, if any of the sets take my fancy, I play around with them and maybe upload one or two of the mixes onto MJ's.

The work I do is really rearranging the loops until something stands out more than usual. This is usually the take that I then produce, ready for potential upload. Some pieces are uploaded straight away and some are 'filed' until later, or for if/when I have a creative block at any time (rare unless something other than music is bothering me).

That's really all there is to it, for these little 'ditty's' that I keep uploading. Basically the majority of pieces up to November last year and some of the 'less wierd' music of this year are all derived from disk samples.

Take care.

Paul.

Hi EZ
Thanks for leaving your comments. I should put a public health warning on some of the stuff I upload!

I may revisit this mix to put together an extended version, sometime later this year. I've set aside 2007 for a 'music experiment year' to learn the art of mixing, arranging and producing decent quality music and I've 43 irons in the musical fire of creativity and so don't know what will come out next.

Thanks for stopping by and listening.

Paul.

I enjoy creating music using computers and 'synthesized' as opposed to 'real' instruments. I have no problem using samples/loops in my music. Everyone does this every time they work with a track. I don't fit in any box and thoroughly enjoy working ou... [see more]

Genre Info
Electronic dance music is a broad set of percussive music genres that largely inherit from 1970s disco music and, to some extent, the experimental pop music of Kraftwerk. Such music was originally borne of and popularized via regional nightclub scene
