Description:
Another venture into the world of gloomy doomy love songs.
Instrumental, lyrics, vocals: stevel
backing vocals: Mystified
Lyrics:
This glass is empty
they're turning on the lights
the last dance is over
as the crowd heaves into the night
I find you standing
crying in the shadows
just another Saturday night
at the dancing gallows
We wait for a taxi
I hope it comes soon
white noise ringing in my ears
its playing our tune
checking the signs
seeking the glances
roaming the underworld
from someone somewhere
We are here right now
So give us the chances
want to find something real
With someone somewhere
And now we're home again
there's nothing to say
that can't be said better
another day
The painting is peeling
on these lonely walls
the cracks are showing
in your sentimental pearls
How did it end up
so predictably obvious
How did I mangage to be
so efficiently oblivious

Nice one with great lyrics..You2 fit well together.
Maybe the drums is a little 2 far in the back not in beg, but after 20-25 sec... in my opinion I feel the drums 2 far in the back......But I really love what you have done here.
Best Regards

Reminds me of a jazzy OP8. Nice guitar playing. I also agree that the the song could unfold a little quicker [ Reply to This ]
