This is an awesome song JOAN! Very experimental, has a lot of things on its silver plate: the groovie trumpet, the awesome chorus, the equally awesome verse vocals (reminds me of Nick Cave in his early years), the bass kicks a**! The mix is very clean, yet capture the live performance you're know for. I am glad to see that you're taking wider turns and angles in the sound processing and the mixing procees; it suites your music very well. This is my personal favorite of your songs thus far!!! 70's Miles - brilliant nod with Matvei's excellent trumpet. What a great tune you guys put together here. Herr - kudos for leading the charge. [ Reply to This ]

There is soomething seductive about your jams. I'd enjoy very much to get in on one of those nights with you guys:)
That new gizmo used on the vox adds a electronic element to your fusion. So it should be, jazzrockelectronicafusion...

we'll see what we can do about the lyrics....but they were written on flash paper to quickly destroy the evidence. actually this song never happened

I alway thought &mdash 03/04/07 - 03:03:27 PM
it was Spyro Gyra and smooth jazz that 'killed' jazz rock fusion. The trumpet fits in your sound like a splatters of shiny, golden, liquid light. [ Reply to This ]
nope &mdash 03/04/07 - 04:59:45 PM
it was the CIA, everyone knows that....although some think it was black ops run out of Spiro Agnew's office
