Wonderful writing, arranging, performances. The mix is spotty, with some things too loud (lead guitar), some things too soft (drums, bass, some vocals), a chopped end, and a tinny EQ (like it was recorded from an old cassette tape?), at least in my ears. But thanks for sharing this. Very fun, very Squire-Howe; loved it. I'm off to discover your other tracks. Please share more!

i dont know where the original tapes are. Maybe when I'm dead someone will release the remix ha ha
i wish i could put that together again but the people are old (more bad humor)

There are ways to shape the EQ even after the fact, you could play with it a bit. Also, it seems like your mp3 compression is rather harsh/metallic. Set it to 192 or something with a better quality output.
william devine
i'll try that.
i havent worked it at all and i guess it would be wrth the time to fix it up.

This is very good. Cool to listen to a snapshot from that period. The part where the guitar first enters remind me of a tune by Santana. I think it's called 'I'll be waiting'... maybe he heard this one and thought he'd do a similar thing;)
But the guitar playing technique and tone remind me of George Benson. In other words.. impressive!
The drummer certainly show some energy in those ultra fast drum rolls:)
Thanks for sharing this one. Your band sounded very pro. Great vocal performance and harmonies.

This track is amazing. Crazy arrangment. Definetly reminicent of Yes. Very sweet.

I was so in to Yes when these guys were doing this stuff live.
I use to just sit and be glued to this band while they were performing.
I think Steve Howe was a huge influence to many people back in the early 70's when his jazzzy licks could be mixed in to the Rock sounds of Chris Squire and the clasical blend of Rick Wakeman. All pulled together with great rhythm performances from Bill Buford or Alan White on the drums.
What great stuff.
Yes, Yes

This is a very cool tune. Saw that you were a new "fan" so had to check your music out. Tobin's observations were good, you can probably clean this up even further with good noise reduction, and a finishing plug-in like Ozone (that's what I've been using to clean up my old cassettes from the '70s). Anyway, off to check out your other tunes. Looks like you've got the whole Devine clan here on MJ! More stuff to check out during the work day. :-)
