Description
The crow in the country sleeps in the mountain at night.

The crow in the city walks back of the alley.

The crow at night comes.

Very smooth and sweet
Nice guitar tone! Got a George Benson-y flavor to it - nice licks as well. The drum fills are a little distracting at times and the overall "bed" could come up to support the lead lines a bit more, but this is a very nice direction for you. I'd like to hear you really rock the house with a R&B rave-up using your mad skills!

Inventive yet mainstream alley music
I especially like the drumming on this one. What patch/software is it?

No matter how...
...you categorize your music, it's always a Tadashi Togawa piece, and this is what I like about it. I found myself first downloading your music, and then listening, because I just know that I am going to like it.
Another excellent track.

Beautiful playing .....
....... as usual. Love the drums (as usual). Tadashi, you must be the most consistent MJer on the site. I'm also interested in how you do the drums - working from a slowed down track maybe??
Thanks for continuing to post your music on MJ!

Slick
Yes, the drums, so amazing... I also have been wondering if you program them at a slower tempo. However you do it, they always sound great. And of course, lovely guitar playing.

I like the slow and thoughtful...
...musing pace of this... Like someone who has terrific chops but is thoughtfully feeling his way toward something new...

I like that you keep the bass figure simple and repetitive here... I think this allows the drum fills to feel supportive and thoughtful and not busy... The drums are very 'human' and sound like a drummer with good ears really listening to the other players...

The guitar tone is very warm... The playing sounds relaxed...

All in all, a lovely tune...

Really nice blues composition with a warm and jazzy bass and drums.

Great guitarwork, Tadashi.
