I READ THE NEWS TODAY....
this is based on true facts as i watched the news in a few days time. there is the verse of devils son that happened in my area. luckily the criminal was arrested and a little girl saved. the region has been very supportive of her and her remaining family. the verse after concerns one of my own dramas. having a tumor removed from my upper lip with radiation oncology on top of that, i've got a dandy pirate scar. the rest comes from stories that seem to never end.
I wrote the lyrics a year and a half ago and almost forgot them.
i hope these tragedies have not befallen on any of you. i just think everyone needs to be aware and support there fellow man.

Lyrics
DRAMA:
plastic man cell phone in hand
bored girl works the coffee stand
down the street somethings going on
in the distance sirens play their song
and a crowd quickly gathers around
from a roof someone hit the ground
devils son holds a family hostage
kills three unleashing his rage
steals the kids having his way
one will die one will be saved
CHORUS:
theres your drama it isn't always pretty
theres your drama it isn't always pretty
see the world bleed
fame and glory holding hand in hand
compilcations unseen as it began
the more you get the more you give
eyes are watching how do you live
poor man dreams what is it like
money is scarce his union on strike
happy family has it just right
its real hard as tragedy strikes
broken father mother isn't right
all the kids destructive and fight
CHORUS:
theres your drama it isn't always pretty
theres your drama it isn't always pretty
see the world bleed
wounded hearts heal over time
pray for johnny he has turned to crime
determination it's always there
plastic man he is never aware
bored girl with the blank stare
never realized what was there
lifes dramas make us stronger
eyes are closed life looks better
is there justice well i can't say
only the survivors can have there say
CHORUS:
theres your drama it isn't always pretty
theres your drama it isn't always pretty
see the world bleed

Overall, I like this. The lyrics are strong. I particularly like the chorus. It's catchy and makes a succinct point. The overall sound is really nicely filled out and well balanced with a nice energy and drive.
I'd like to hear a little more variation in the vocal melody pattern of the verse lines here and there. There are also a few times when it sounds like you are struggling to fit words into lines (timing wise) that I think with some work you could resolve. For example, the part "...it isn't..." in the chorus sounds like you are trying to force the two words into the same place. Without changing the words at all you could get the phrazing on that line to work better. One other place that stood out was "plastic man he is never aware". As it is right now "aware" runs out of space and the two syllables get forced into one. I think if you say "he's" rather than "he is" you will have the pacing of that line better.
Other than those little phrazing issues I think the delivery sounds really good and driving. I enjoyed listening and found the lyrics thought provoking.
