Lyrics:
Rolled up by his lonesome,
rolled up by himself,
Rolled up by his lonesome,
alone with nobody else.

"Let's paint this picture perfect,"
is what he said to you,
"Well ya don't have to go down that path
my friend, as soon as the dust it clears,"

Rolled up on beside him,
nobody left in sight,
Rolled up on beside him,
like an ol' shot of loaded dice....

~Musical~

Rolled up by his lonesome,
he didn't know one of us,
Rolled up by his lonesome,
for all we know he came from the sun,

Painted a pretty picture,
more of the mts. of green,
Painted it right beside you,
no more jealousy,

Rolled up on beside him,
alone with nobody else,
Rolled up on beside him,
took a seat next to him on the bus,

~Musical~

Rolled on by this evening,
alone with nobody else,
thoughts and prayers beside him,
countin' on nobody else,
Lost and lonely, torn inside, what was he to say,
Reached out his hands to grab his heart,
that's when he said "Goodnight"

Rolled up on his only,
Friend he'd ever known,
Rolled up on this evening,
A pile of ol' dusty bones...

Rolled up on this evening,
alone with nobody else,
Rolled up bye this morning,
Alone with nobody else......

We Greatly apprietiate all your feedback, glad you enjoy our type of music, not completely sure about our genre myself? Best as Phychedelic, or alternative swamp.... seriously, your comments help, and we hope to grow to make better sounds in the future. Thanks again-Mike

You should make a cleaner recording of this one. I think you have something special here. Just try to do it again. I think it's f-ing cool though.

more and more... &mdash 03/21/07 - 04:41:27 PM
I hear it reminds me of live recordings of the velvet underground....I really like the musical interludes picking up intensity here. I love the voice - it's a cool effect that it sounds muffled by the recording, but I think you have a killer voice in there, I can't quite get all of....

Cool! &mdash 03/27/07 - 09:42:06 AM
Great groove here - it doesn't strike me as psychedelic so much as it does rock - this has a real nice Doors feel to it. It might sound swampy if you had some more loose guitar elements mixed in, like slide or something. But this sounds pretty straight-ahead rockin' to me - without a lot of the looping solos that happen in jam music. Great tune!

We apprietiate ya stoppin' in! Love your music...and respect your opinion. I think we decided to put this in Phychedelic because of the herbs we experiemented with, thanks, hope that helps clarify genre....

The echoey guitars in the solo reminded me of hawkwind circa 1976. that's a good thing, by the way. It's very brave of you to record in such a muddy tone, but it works here just fine. Like the bouncy drums too. Good stuff.
