Description:
This is a mixture of science fiction fantasy. Bing and I collaborated on this track and once again my many greatful thanks to his skillful Dulcimers and giving this song a third dimension. Can't beat real instruments basically: and Bing works the magic of the Electric Dulcimers superbly. This is a Mystical track with tension.
Synopsis: The Living City called Avalon is calling Her Sentinels to return and restore The City to completeness. A war has raged and taken its toll, thousands are dead, Avalon is to all intents and purposes abandoned. The streets are quiet, and deserted. Knowing that to win this war means sacrifice Avalon devises a plan to safeguard Herself and sends protectors into the world to hide Her heart from The Enemy. The war is over and Avalon The Living City is calling you to Return...
Lyrics:
I know you well like a lovers kiss, like a lovers scent do you remember me? Do you remember these?..... I remember Then when I healed your pain - way back Then when I set you free... Do you remember me? Do you remember this?
Chorus: Hear his calls Oh Avalon, Hear him call to you Avalon, The hopes and dreams of - Avalon, Freedom calls For Avalon.
Remember Then, torn asundered shackles when I kissed your brow and nurtured you..do you remember me? do you remember these? I know you well I remember your silence unspoken words only two souls can speak - do you remember me? do you remember this?
Chorus: Hear his calls Oh Avalon, Hear him call to you Avalon, The hopes and dreams of - Avalon, Freedom calls For Avalon.
Now Avalon restless and wintered senses your presence as you enter her heart : The Living City. "Come hither child, the Keeper awaits, to Placate the Stone called my heart and lay waste to the dark. Awaken The Key. Awakens The Key, in me."

Nice! &mdash 03/06/07 - 12:33:03 PM
To me the guitars have a "Genesis" with Phil feel along with alot of the song structure. I LIKE IT! But what really sets the song apart for me is the VOCALS! I just loved the production. Going into my favorite's list.
Send me a note on your next collab. Congratulations to both of you.
Well done indeed.
Sincerely,
Chris [ Reply to This ]
You know .... &mdash 03/06/07 - 12:49:21 PM
... there is a hint of "Frankie Goes to Hollywood" in here to my ears ... kinda takes me back to the 80's when I lived in England ... perhaps a blend of styles. Sounds like a new twist in what I am used to hearing from Bing ... nice collab. [ Reply to This ]
BIG SONG!! &mdash 03/06/07 - 10:35:26 PM
what a fireworks of passion and power! this is obviously straight from your heart - and it's beautifully received by mine. what an amazing vocal - i'm under its spell! bing, wish i could identify you more clearly - but the music is a pleasure to witness. loved the tense percussion - panned so effectively. there might be a bit of fighting for space 'tween the vocal and instrumental in spots, but that's only because there's enough material here for several more pieces. ;) you are an exciting voice! anne [ Reply to This ]
a big song &mdash 03/07/07 - 06:21:21 PM
this is excellent! the vocals are great - i really like the half-whispered "remember" sprinkled through out - it adds tension really well.
the vocal harmonies are nice and smooth. and the guitars support the mood nicely.
i can picture this performed live with lots of theatrical fog and huge floods of colored lights slowly sweeping....
thanks! [ Reply to This ]
