Description:
I had this visual picture. A short story perhaps, of a medieval Bard, who has been long appreciated by most of the common folk for many years. That is, until one day the royal court of the kingdom, for reasons unknown to most, decides he wasn't needed any more. Thrown out of the "highlife" and put back on the street, the Bard realizes that he is without a home. He wanders aimlessly, dejected. He feels without worth, home, or any sense of purpose. He finally decides to uproot himself and leave everything behind. As the final day of his departure arrives, he strolls out of the kingdom only to find dozens of people following him from all walks of life; those who appreciated his work, and still long for his music. Saddened by his departure, they follow to say their goodbyes, but to also encourage him to play one last song. A dance. A dance to celebrate their love for his music, and to bid him off to journeys unknown. Overwhelmed by their kindness, The Bard pulls out his guitar and begins a song that is as old as the kingdom itself. A dance they all know and remember. A favorite to say goodbye A "Bard's Farewell".Hardware:
