Well you know how us musicians are. We fall in love at the drop of a hat. In my case it happens to be my best friend. So this is my way of breaking the ice with her and I'll share it with y'all

Good production
Nice, professionnal sound. Well played. Good timing. I'm
no expert, but this sounds very radio ready to me.

Great work
I really enjoyed all the production values you worked into
this track. Nice tight arrangement, great vocal layering.
Solid pop lyrics and construction. Good use of GB sounds.
I especially like your false pseudo and the shoo-doo-wop
section. The lead solo that follows could use more
syncopation to be as hip as the whole. Sound like Jimi
Hendrix singing pop. The whistling at the end was the
frosting on the cake. Really entertaining tune.

Great work
Well thank you. I have been influenced by him so I take that as a compliment.
As for the solo, I could have taken a better one or extended it, but I think it
works the way it is. I do appreciate the critique. It helps if outside people
comment on things like that just so we can get a different perspective that we
weren't thinking about at the time and help to develop our music.

This almost
has an old Motown sound to it. Very refreshing! Maybe
it's just my ears but some of the lower background vocals
sound a tad flat...

BTW
Isn't this pop? I think that's where you might want to put
this one.

early 70s nice
This reminds me of a mellow version of KC and the
Sunshine Band..."Shake your Booty". The phrase structure
is almost identical. It works well though!

A little Philadelphia sound there too. Production values on
this are very high, good tune, and very well sung,
performed. The whistles were a nice touch!

early 70s nice
A lot of TSOP goin on. Grew up listening to Blue Notes, O'Jays, Teddy,
Mcfadden & Whitehead. Also the shoo-do-wop is a nod to Stevie. J5 do it on
stevie's 'You Haven't Done Nothin' '. I think that most of my other stuff not
dealing with Hip-Hop sounds like this.

Could be the theme for:
1.) THE SEQUEL TO PRETTY IN PINK.
2.) THE SEQUEL TO TEEN WOLF
3.) THE SEQUEL TO 16 CANDLES
4.) THE SEQUEL TO ....ANY TEENAGE 80'S MOVIE
WITH ANTHONY MICHAEL HALL, MOLLY RINGWALD
OR , ROB LOWE.
WOULD MAKE A GREAT B SIDE TO THE ST ELMO'S
FIRE SINGLE.
Catchy, poppy, clear,... and don't friggin do it man.
She'll never appreciate you the way you appreciate
her. Go for the hot cheerleader, not your best friend.
Classic mistake we've all been led to believe is the
happy ending by hollywood. Go for the one with the
best five pound hams, because in the end they all
turn out to just be the #1 person who bugs the shh-
nike out of you. You can always stare at her hot body
when she's yelling at you for not picking your socks
up off the floor, but not if shes just the "plain old
best friend kind of looks". Oh ya...keep the song too.
True Love only exists in music not in relationships.

Just kidding?

Kharismatic is changing the sound of Sacramento Music. With highly percussive tracks laced with melodic grooves to sooth the savage beast, yet grimey enough for the hardest of Hip-Hop heads. Kharismatic originally hails from The BK (Brooklyn, NY).... [see more]
