Mirkwood Fires

Description
I came up with this melody one afternoon, and it made me think of a gloomy dark wood, damaged after a near by war had intruded upon it. Trees trampled on by machinery, creatures and things designed for death. The song talks about the war, and the lives of those affected by it. It then ends with a storm smothering in fire. The gloom made me think of some of Tolkein's "woods" that he described, the bitter anger of the "trees" he describes, and the great losses of lands raped by war.

True to New Age...
Lovely track here...
Nice build-up of instrumentation and percussion.
It reminds me a bit of the Narada offerings in the 90's, including Tingstad and Rumbels' collaborations.

Thanks for posting this here :)

Relaxing
I like this a bit more than some of your others, but so far they have all been good and worth more than one listen. I agree with Mystified, you do more justice to the genre "New Age" than most. Thanks for sharing these tracks.
