Description:
This song was created by me and another good friend of mine - Lars Hammer, also known as "King Einstein" to the indie music arena of Germany. We met as fellow keyboardists on mp3.com, and came up with the idea of recording a piece together. We decided to let the music "lead" us on a journey of its own. Lars started with a simple guitar riff, got his mp3 files to me and I started layering other voices on it. Eventually through passing files back and forth across the internet, the song took form, and then leaped away to new heights. I'm very proud of this work, and to have had the chance to work with Lars on it. The oboe lead voice and the piano solo in the middle are me, and Lars did all the rest. We had no score, no notes on a page, just our desire to meld a piece together, and let it lead us along. It worked out well, and I hope you enjoy it. The piece for us depicted a tale of a "Golden Age" with knights, kingdoms and tall ships sailing the sea. It was a lot of fun, and I hope to one day record more music with him. Thanks KE!Hardware:
