I already liked the original very much (still exercising on that line 'Mesmo depois de tanto tempo ter decorrido'), but by putting your delicious datasauce over it, this has become a completly different dish. So very distinctively datafunk again. You got style, mon ami!

Portuguese is such an amazing language to listen to as a non-speaker! This is not in my usual genres of preference, but I knew it would be worth a listen - I definitely wasn't wrong.

Now, you may object to such mechanical and literal translation, but may I remind you that the late Wm. S. Burroughs used the Cut-Up method in which he stung together random printed clippings, and the result seemed to him to amplify his thoughts. Thus, the awkward translation may indeed serve to amplify what you have to say.
If the i-Ching teaches us anything, it is that randomness in fact has meaning. This could add to the effect of your song. It certainly conveys a claustrophobic ambiance, which in turn fits the music. [ Reply to This ]
