Description:
Traditional folk song done by everyone from The Greatful Dead to Fred Neil to lots of bluegrass groups. This is an arrangement I have played for many years although usually not with so many instruments.

I don't know this one either
Wow, your voice sounds more sure of itself than I've ever heard it, I think, and rides over the song at a comfortable breezy pace. The guitar style is nice and loose too and full of personality. You're in your element here!

Long Time
Thanks David and Rebsie! Ten years ago, Greg and I were playing open mics and parties under the name of High and Lonesome. Another friend Tracy was also singing with us for a bit. This was one of the songs we did along with I Like It In Duluth, 900 Miles, Baby What You Want Me To Do and a whole host of other covers of both traditional blues and folk as well as pop rock songs from the 50's and 60's. Greg did most of the lead singing except for the blues and I did mostly harmony singing and lead fills and solos on the guitar. These that I am posting now are just when we get together very infrequently just to have fun. At the same time I am trying to go back and record some of the ones I did the lead singing on and this is one of those. It is nostalgia for me but as you have mentioned you never heard it before.
