Nice breaks :)
I dig the beats and the flow of this song - the voice is very good too - but buried in the mix and echos sometimes :)

modern disco/club electro pop
.. I hear the Kylie thing a bit too .. and I also think
the vocals could come up a bit in general, bit swamped
by the bass in the backing and a little too much reverb
when louder, but this is very 'now' and drives very well, if mostly from the instrumentation. I'd like the vocals to be more in the front seat. The little break bit should
be a chance for the instrumentation to shine/come up IMO,
at the mo it's sounds more or less the same level, just
without vocals. All in all a good solid song. Kudos to you both.

Great mix
Love the crisp bass & drums - urban sound, but cos of the airey vocals would go well at a festival too, with some lasers or a campfire.I can well imagine stumbling through some trees out of my head with this echoing around at varying distances.Great stuff!

Trip Hop?
This is quite a track, clear as bell vocals and succint, razor DnB. The only thing is, is it Trip Hop? Well, Trip Hop is based upon roots reggae and Dub although takes its main drive from Hip Hop. Reggae came out of Soul and Mento because the beat was too fast and Jamaican selectors turned the rhythm down for the deejay to toast without passing out. It also helped the crowd dance all night rather than flop out in the heat! So, in the same way reggae came from soul, Trip Hop came from Hip Hop and was "slowed down" to a dub riddim. Thus, the gold standard of 90bpm. Check out the original Bristol Sound with bands like Massive Attack, Portishead, Nightmares on Wax, Tricky, Future Sound of London. for just a start. Check out also any Lee Scratch Perry from The Blackark period (e.g.The Congos) or any King Tubby. These Jamaicans were sampling and looping in the early 1970's. Yep... They gave us proto dance music which eventually became DanceHall, the root of Hip Hop (which was taken from Jamaica by Jamaicans to New York and other Jamaican ghettos in the US). This is fact yet very little recognised. In fact, it helped to send Perry (literally) mad!
Thus very simple: I'd love to hear a remix (just as Perry, Tubby or Massive might). Slow the riddim down to 90 and toast the mic! Cheers.

Genre's...
Well, I hate boxes too! Always being a square peg for the roundest of holes, I very much appreciate the fact that music should be barrier free and devoid of race. You certainly have a beautiful voice: I take the bit on board about Kylie. I saw her in January at Manchester MEN arena. She did well overall, given her recent problems. However, your music is more involved (with the sole exception of her track Confide In Me) and I would love to hear this track slowed down and given extra room as an alternative dub in contrast. However, this should not detract in anyway from what's on offer here, right now. Love your voice and the antipoedean diction! Bonza! Warmest of wishes from the English Lakes, Girk
