Description:
A tribute to the likewise named popsong out of the 80ies (soiled with fragments of another popular 80ies song). 98% MIDI built-up. guess, a male or female singer could be nice. Still a work in progress ... annotations welcome.

If you dont go with human then I would definately use robot. It does have a strong industrial feel to it and an inhuman voice would give it that extra grittyness (is that a word?) for the jam.

this is great, alex! i think for the lead, it would be nice to hear a lower register, heavily vocoded male vocal. it would also be nice if you could get some soft female background vox (human and human league-sounding).

I definitely recognise that initial drum beat! I love the Human League.
This track has all the necessary elements for a class 80s track. All that's missing - like you said - is vocals.

1. completely different lyrics, maybe using quotations of the original text (unfortunately I have no convenient text ideas yet)
2. cover version (the original "Being Boiled" texts)
