Description:
A loud and stupid but hopefully enjoyable electric blues . . .well, sorta. Go Tommy Go!
Lyrics:
JUNIOR STOP PLAYING WITH THAT THINGCome in for supper, junior stop playing with that thing
Come in for supper, junior stop playing with that thing
Oh I know you can make it rock Oh lord you can make it sing
Why is there a hole in the doughnut, didn't you want to see that
Oh there's a hole in the doughnut you really didn't need that
Put a smile on your face, don't be such a sad, sad sack
Put your left foot forward and put your right away
Put your left foot forward and don't let the right get in the way
Don't listen to what I think, just do what I say
Come in for supper, junior stop playing with that thing
Come in for supper, junior stop playing with that thing
That girl just wants you to buy her a diamond ring

I enjoyed this song, Tom. Aggressive tone (love it) and spirited singing. I'll not comment on your mix - my ears are tired from mixing for a couple of hours and I think I may be overly sensitve to cymbals.
That's a funny coincidence how our song names both use "play" and "thing".

I didn't like the cymbals either but they were part of a loop and I couldn't get rid of em. Tried to eq them out but am not skilled enough to pull it off.

this has that real chess records sound. but you need a bluesman moniker such as ribeye bronco or t-bone bronco. fun listen and just exactly what thing was junior playing with?...second thought you better not tell me.
bronco
It's no secret! He was playing with his mojo! John the Conqueroo taught him how to do that!

Bronco,
really dug this one, To me its a roots song of the blues
with that visual (to me) of a dark tavern with a short height stage and some people dancing, others sitting at the bar, others at a table smoking and drinking from a
bottle of whiskey and a few others outside talking about
days from the past.A hot summer night with some hot guitar playing man!
bronco
I thought that was you leaning agains't that oak tree and passing something around with the boys! Music is so loud that you can hear outside as good as inside and there is a little breeze going under the trees.

this is indeed very enjoyable tom!

I love this song! Love the sort of tone on the vocal and how your playing is more agressive and brash throughout. Nice stuff! I actually don't mind the cymbals so much, though the crash is a little overused. I like the ride and the swing of this drum loop. Nice electric solo! Really really great.

Cool Jim, glad you enjoyed it! If you ever find that hole in the doughnut, tell it I'm looking for it!
