Lyrics
As I sit alone, I dream of you tonight
When all that I could ask for
is you by my side
How I long to hold you
wrapped up within my arms
I cannot contain it, your words are
not enough
This one thing I ask you,
before you fall asleep
Remember me
Because I am drifting away
So before I fall and weep,
Remember me
Why can't I be
the man I see inside?
that I might lay down
my head and cry
For I long to claim what
can never be erased
but grant me one desire,
I long to see your face.
This one thing I ask you,
before you fall asleep
Remember me
Because I am drifting away
So before I fall and weep,
Remember me
This one thing I ask,
before you fall asleep,
Remember me
So before I fall alseep,
Remember me...
Remember me.
When all that I could ask for
is you by my side
How I long to hold you
wrapped up within my arms
I cannot contain it, your words are
not enough
This one thing I ask you,
before you fall asleep
Remember me
Because I am drifting away
So before I fall and weep,
Remember me
Why can't I be
the man I see inside?
that I might lay down
my head and cry
For I long to claim what
can never be erased
but grant me one desire,
I long to see your face.
This one thing I ask you,

Remember me
Because I am drifting away
So before I fall and weep,
Remember me
This one thing I ask,
before you fall asleep,
Remember me
So before I fall alseep,
Remember me...
Remember me.

This is such a spectacular mainstream ballad, with some great performance. But, man, those constant grating breaths of yours really detract. The new EQing that gives everything more crispness, (nice job with that), has made your breathing very harsh. Nice improvement in the drum track. Consider figuring out how to avoid the intact of breath being louder than your actual singing. Cuz this is great stuff.
