Description
This is my entry into the LIOLI #3 thing.

I didn't do anything for #2.

I did do something for LIOLI #1, but it was a late entry. Find it at:

So back to LIOLI #3. The loops were funk guitar. So, like everyone else, I tried as hard as possible to not do a funk piece. (*Note, I am composing this before the other entries have been submitted. I can just imagine so many of us will try to resist the funk urges implied in the loops).

So what did I do? Option-drag baby. Option-drag baby. And then some heavy effects for good measure. It's a soundscape. This would make great music for an R2-D2 porn movie. Not that I would know.

I used 2 of the 4 loops. Was it just me or were the loops somewhat arhythmic? I just couldn't get them to work. Were they in 3/4? Oooh, a funk waltz. Never thought of that.

If you've read this much you must be morbidly curious or you feel obliged to read this for some reason. I congratulate you!

Ha!
I was sure of it too. He must have been having that hot oil bath he was hoping to have on Tatooine.

Well done brother resistor of the funk
R2 likes to talk while doin it - I find that hot. Very entertaing subversive conversion of the funk.

What a fascinating conversation!
Or is it an argument? It seems to get a tad heated in the middle there. Sounds like some very opinionated robots there.

Twisted...
those loops, you did. Very cool listen, and I had a good laugh when I read your "R2-D2 porn movie" comment :)

Cool Guitar
This was a cool little number. I like the whole Robot Idea.

Did I mention the cool guitar in the picture. Was the Pink possibly inspired by a particular MJ member's hairstyle?

Androidy
Ha, definitely sounds like some kind of voices... even the wandery bass line. Were the loops arhythmic? I dunno, I thought they worked fine, if a little odd. Nice craziness, pooey.

it's not
funk. but i wouldn't know funk if it ran up and bit me.

so this is an excellent diversionary tactic. i must agree, the effects do sound robotically obscene somehow...

Funk... Long Ago, Far Far Away
I see a droid porn shop, poorly lit with a bunch of droids milling furtively around. This piece is playing over the sound system.

C3PO: I don't know why you drag me into places like this, R2... Oh, my, look at that...
