Description:
Digitized on a Mac, but otherwise pre-GB. Holy cow I actually sing on this one... LOL.

  • Drive

  • Brownsville Moan (Gudkarma Collab)

  • The Journey

  • Riff Raff

  • Farrocchia

  • but you might hate these slightly less:

  • October Original

  • October Bliss

  • Felice

Only partially formed, I'm making up sounds as I go, so know real lyrics per se. Vocal track recorded in a single take, and I just never got around to writing lyrics.

    Great voice. &mdash 08/08/04 - 03:26:03 PM
Your voice fits this song really well and I'm still
amazed at the sound you get from that Mirage.

There's a Pink Floyd chord progression going on here that
    I like very much.

The drums feel too brittle (maybe a mp3 compression
thing) and repetitive. It'd be better with more variety and
    more natural sound

Holy cow you couldn't be more right about the drums. I've always hated the
drums in most of my songs, because, not being a drummer, and not being
good at faking it, I've often relied on drum loops, in this case from a Roland
    TR707 drum machine. Good observations!

    Could be better if... &mdash 02/26/05 - 02:08:03 PM
you used some kind of amp/cab simulator if you're going
to plug a distortion unit directly in to your recording
    device.

That and some drum variation would have made this tune
    100 times better.

    Nice vocals and song idea.

The distortion unit was used way before any sort of entry into a recording
unit in the chain (it was the first unit after the sound source), but thanks for
the input anyway. Your comments on the drums couldn't
be more on the money. I of course, am not a drummer, although I have been
pleasantly surprised when I have taken the time to try to muddle my way
through and try to drum a little to my tracks.

Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback. I will look to do the same on
one of your tracks as well.
