Description:
Good old up-tempo song.

Lyrics:
Feeling Kinda' Dizzy (David Armbruster)

How did we break it in two?
Sometimes I wish that you knew
What is lying in between
The fuckin' lines and distorted dreams

I think I can be myself, all alone and nobody else, nobody else.
Deal the cards and let's play it out.
I think it's over and I don't have a doubt, I think it's over and I don't have a doubt.

Feeling kinda' dizzy
Let's go out and get some air
Feeling kinda' dizzy
Going back underneath beware

What makes me come down to you
What makes you do what you do

Friction, tension causes sparks
Think I'll never fix my heart

We can never be this way, sometimes I have got to say
All the things that I can feel, love me now and I know that you will, love me now and I know that you will.

Feeling kinda' dizzy. Let's go out and get some air.
Feeling kinda' dizzy going back underneath beware.

Good stuff .. &mdash 03/20/07 - 01:50:29 PM
.. nice big intro. Catchy chorus .. something in the
guitars and beat made me think of "The Cars" .. it's
alot punkier, with the lyrics and a kinda Clash-esque vocals too .. nicely executed little pop guitar solo. Nitpicks: ending a bit abrupt, a faded repeated chorus might work here. I liked the guitar in 1st verse that didn't have the phaser/flange effect on it .. that sound worked best in the chorus for me.
All in all very enjoyeable - let us know what you used for the recording, and of course .. welcome to Macjams!!

Thanks APB &mdash 03/21/07 - 10:13:07 AM
Thanks for the welcome. Look forward to hearing your stuff.
I use Garageband w/ an i-mic, and standard band equipment. Les Paul Gibson, some cheap bass and a Yamaha keyboard. I use the drum loop, but I don't really use any of the musical loops.
Thanks again

I like it &mdash 03/21/07 - 09:52:34 AM
you're a very talented musician and guitarist....This song is very richly done. It's a treat. Is that a brassy synth I detect in the intro and chorus? Makes your song sound monumental! catchy climbingn guitar and the dynamics from intro to verses to chorus is great.

Yeah, it does sound a little like '70s punk - in the best of ways.

Sweet... &mdash 03/23/07 - 07:19:26 PM
Roughen up the horns on the intro and you've got it. The addition of the word' fuckin' gives me a personal touch of joy. Easy Lavalamp.

OK I'm starting at the bottom &mdash 02/02/08 - 12:21:15 AM
I don't know why but I grabbed this last one first. Oh, and I like it! there is so much in this song. I guess being a child of the sixties, I was there at the start, but somewhere in the mid to late seventies I stopped listening and stopped playing. I totally missed the 80-90's scene and so now I hear a different generation that evolved after me with their own sound and it is all new to me. I don't even think this way musically and so I really appreciate it. You write and produce your stuff so well. I am going to grab another treat right now off your menu. This is really good stuff.
Kudos,
Stephen

This is the only pic of me on this site. In my dream world, I wanted it to be the cover of my album.

Thanks Dee, I appreciate it very much.

Love hitting the oldies.
