Description:
This is a song I wrote for an indie movie that my mate directed. Theh movie was about a twenty-something Japanese girl meets a little French gril in the street and she ends up helping the little girl to find her missing mother.
Since it is a girls movie, I asked a good friend of mine, Jun, a singer of very popular pop unit called "nj" in Japanese indie music scene to sing this song for me. She's brilliant and I think you'd agree. Definitely much better than me singing! (l0l) After all, I am singing because nobody else wants to sing my songs! lol

Anyway, please catch the trailer of this movie at youtube!

Lyrics:
Lyrics & Music by Jesushairdo
Vocal by Jun

Listen carefully
Listen to your heart
and close your eyes

Can you feel it?
There are flowers blossoming
somewhere in your heart

At the corner of the parking lot
in the street I always passed by without knowing
I noticed tiny little cherry blossoms there
Little something you have left behind in this town

I remember now
how it felt warm in your hands

Little tiny flowers
bobbing their heads
to my heartbeat

Now you're gone
I am alone missing you
The flowers can feel my pain

At the corner of the parking lot
in the street I always passed by without knowing
I noticed tiny little cherry blossoms there
Little something you have left behind in this town

I remember now
how it felt warm in your hands

Listen quietly
Listen to your heart
Just close your eyes

I am wishing
my voice would cross the oceans
and reach you

thanks! you are too kind! lol i like singing. so the critics won't stop me from singing anyway! ha! but i really think that i dont have what it takes to be a real singer. so im always looking for the right voice for each song. and this one, i think Jun was it.

An unexpected surprise jh - although I always enjoy the surprise each time you post a new song. Jun has a lovely voice - must be nice to have friends who sound this good and who are willing to sing for you; )
Very good production as always - the final build section was incredible in detail and clarity of production.
Excellent song (and I enjoy your singing also!).
Cheers,
Neil

First off, I'm sorry it took me so long to finally listen to this. But better late than never - at least in this case it is!

Beautiful singing (amazing voice), good writing and great production!
I just loved the buildup - albeit a bit quick. The grand, orchestral chorus in the latter half blew me away.

The only thing I can criticize in this is that I thought it took too long a time to end. After the climax I feel it should've died down pretty quickly. However, being a piece of a soundtrack, this could easily work with the film. I guess I have to see it in the movie to be able to judge it completely :)

A fav & a download!
Beautiful work!
