Extremely good It's funny, I seem to be running right behind echoroom commenting, today... I really dig this song, tremendously. I think the production is rock solid and think you've done a great job of making the mix feel uncluttered even though there are quite a few things going on. I agree with Steve that some vocals would really make the song incredible. It's good by itself, but it's an excellent bed and it would be cool to hear it developed more, too. When i think of the Cure, i always think of 'Pornography' (the album,not the reading material) ... this sounds more upbeat than their stuff. Really great production on this - the drums especially are great. The track has a kinda 80's feel to it, maybe that's where the Cure comparison comes from.
First track I 've listened from you, and I'm really impressed.
This would suit female vocals, i think, though it works great as an instrumental.
