Description:
Re mixed and mastered version of my last upload, let me know if u think its an improvement, also i noticed on some speakers the vocals seem a bit overpowering?

Lyrics:
Looking into a bland abode
The live they refuse to behold
Neutral in a fruitless labour
They all know

The futile will end their day
A disappointing scabbed cliche
Pursue life with a frown in wait
Content a witness

You won't live you just learn

Sit and watch the day
Rot and fall away
Living in decay of the
Routines that you choose
Pathways that you use
Who will you accuse

Embracing fate a conditional term
Eyes are glazed they will live not learn
Reminice jaded memories that
They all knew

Prog interest and EQ improvements &mdash 04/02/07 - 09:44:30 AM
I dig the prog feel. Nice rhythmic grooves. Compared to the early version, the drums sound more present, which is good, and the edgier EQ throughout is an upgrade; and I like this version's proggier feel. But I like the effects on the vocals in the earlier track; these vocals are too dry for this style of music, in my ears. Maybe try a third version, that keeps everything in this tracks but uses vocal effects that give them more depth and places them in the same place as the drums? I dig the tune. (Also, there are times your singing is pitchy, more like punk stylings, and the track has a sophistication that demands better pitch control, I think.) I am off to hear you earlier tunes...
