Description:
Love and loneliness...an old RJ fave.....

Lyrics:
Come On In My Kitchen

Robert Johnson, P.D.

1
Woman I love, long to see,
She’s way up the country, she don’t write to me

Cho
Come on in my kitcen,
It’s sure to be raining outdoors

2
Woman get in trouble, everybody throw her down,
She’s looking for her good friend, guess who ain’t about to be found

3
Woman I love, stole her from my best friend,
Some joker he got lucky, stole her back again

4
Woman I love, caught that southbound train,
Married woman, love her just the same

5
She’s gone, won’t be back,
Had the last nickel from her ration sack

THE MANY VOICES &mdash 04/01/07 - 10:58:13 AM
Mississippi Fred McDowell said, "Now, the guitar tell it."

That's Fine sounding Guitar!
Sometimes it's not entirely clear who is talking when, but the story sure gets Told.

Best,
Cooper

Great tune &mdash 04/02/07 - 04:35:21 PM
but I think it has a more "muffled" sound to the others you posted today. Perhaps you were going for that effect?

Otherwise I loved it!
