Description:
This is actually a remix of a previous song called Down The Road. I renamed it as well as remixed it. Changes from the original are making the strings into an organ and lowering the volume on that track, re-eq'ing and putiing more reverb and echo on the vocal and guitars. I think it sounds a lot better now.

Lyrics:
I was walking down the road when I thought I heard a sound
And it sounded like thunder and desire

Sometimes it seems like I'm going in the wrong direction
And sometimes I don't know what that means

Now patience is not my virtue, there is a dark side of me
But nothing can take the place, of being so healthy and free

The evil that you do it lives after you
And the good often goes in the grave
But the journey down the road doesn't come with a map
And it's easy to take a wrong turn

Open up your eyes, see the beauty all around
Life can be so sacred, a place no religion ever found

Lovely voice and guitar
Lyricaly a bit preachy for me; not that I disagree with what you're saying, I just prefer stories and parables.

Cheers, Shaky

ThanksRover
I agree with you that I like the guitar and vocal better than the lyrics, not that I disagree with them either. However quite a few people did say they liked them the first time I posted this, so who knows? I'm no Willie Shakespeare that's for sure - but maybe you have to be dead a couple of centuries to be appreciated, hehehehe!

The Road
Thanks once again David for listening. At some point I should probably re-record this whole song because I still think it can sound better. I was pleased with the improvement that was made though.

Cool lyrics
Hey, very cool lyrics in this song. And I am so jealous of your guitar playing! Nice song, I can't wait to listen to more of your stuff!

Nice
song you have here. Your guitar playing is excellent as ever. Good I really like the performance too! It didn't strike me as preachy and I really like the title. Quality stuff.
