...this fits perfectly...
Great groove. Waiting for that Strat (my favorite, if I'd have to choose one). Ahhhh...there it is! Subtle. Nice rhythm work. In the pocket. Tasty.
Excellent tempo changes. Very cool piece.
Check out another one...

The rhythm section is right on also, Thanks for putting this group together.

Composition and performance.
It is wonderful.

Nice slow, smooth track, cool and hip, unrushed, sexy and full. The left trumpet has some tuning issues (in my ears), tho. Love the intervals, the lyrical modal feel. Nice writing.

this tune is very funky and foxy too. Hence the name...da.
Your a great player and the horn arrangments show a lot of style. cool use of the two horn sounds with the mute. Tight harmonies.
nice tune and great soloing.
What a funky break in the middle. How did you do the drums for that part. Very hip.
I'm always looking for horns to finish my songs. I have one in mind if you are intereted in a collab at some point?

I program the drums on my little Dr R drum machine. Then I'll add some midi drums over the top of that. If I get really lucky a real drummer asks to sit in.
Always interested in collabs!

Wonderfully constructed lines and very effective use of tension in the horn section.... to me very reminicent of the stylistic devices deployed by jazz and fusion artists in the late 70s ( late 70s Miles Davis and another example is some of the songs on John Scofields - album Whos Who ). Bass playing is fantastic and the horn solos blew me away...... very cool playing on all three counts. Love the opening trumpet line and the guitar and keys were top notch as well. the piece is very melodic and again masterfully composed... performances aside at the core of the song is MELODY and that to my ears is what really counts... it is one thing to create a clever chord structure embellish the arrangement resulting in a very cool bed, but it is quite another to write a strong and pleasing melody that weaves seamlessly through the changes elevating the piece to a new level. You have suceeded on all counts!
