Description:
This is a song a few friends and I recorded about 5 (or 6) years ago. I came across it about a week ago and decided to "remix" it. I tried my best to take out the static from the mic we were using and hopefully once I get a mic myself you will hear some updated logic from The EL.
The picture is the actual equipment we used at the time (those were the days).
I will also post an acapella version of this in case anyone wants to do anything with it.

The mic I suggest is the Rode NT-1a. It's a standard mic around here. The price just went way down to $200. Many places even give a free pop filter with it. You can't beat this price for a well tuned condenser mic. If you use it along with a tube pre amp before your firewirebox, you'll be set like a pro.
At any rate, I had a good time working with this song. I posted a rough draft. I'll go back and fix all the little things. Let's do a few more songs soon.

The place we recorded it was called the hall of justice (we were the Just-Us league then). Wow. It amazing how the past can make you feel. Wanting so much to have them back, yet glad for what it has made you.
