Description
This is based on a random tone generator that Drakonis turned me onto. There are a million of these things out there, but this one will send you the MIDI file via emali when you're done. there address is:
http://tones.wolfram.com/

It's not really random, as you can adjust the parameters and change the instrumentation. I spent about 10 minutes messing with this and then dumped the whole thing into GB. In doing that the whole piece is condensed into 1 file, since GB won't break it down into invidual instruments. I saved the MIDI file so that I can re-do this after getting the right software (as always, it's gotta be free).

so basically this is me playing a little improv synth over the top of the MIDI file (which is playing in 2 different voices).

hehehe...
glad to point you at this free playtoy, and this sounds really nice as well, again, a lot of that is your nice choice of synths, and your tasteful improv over it. E-mail me the Wolfram MIDI file and I'll send you back a better MIDI that can be imported into GB. Cool sounds, and nice fractal image too.
ttfn,
Drakonis

thanks for listening
I'm glad you like, it was a fun experiment. i have been using the Eve soft synth which is pretty flexible, and able to get some good analog sounds (as opposed to over the top house or new age sounds). The ending was supposed to be on the sudden side, and glad you could appreciate it.

i will check out your page in a bit (after the chores are done around the household). thanks for listening.

Nice work
Very soothing. I could see listening to hours of this stuff if you were to put it out. I'd like to listen to it right before drifting off to sleep.
