Description:
It's been awhile since i've had the chance to make music but i had some spare time for a few hours and this is what I came up with. I posted an earlier version of this but I had to clean it up a little bit more before I was satisfied. Enjoy!

...power to innocence and back again...all the builds in between.
Pro production. Sounds great, man. So glad you dropped by my place. Gave me the trail to this wonderful groove.
Got you on my list.

This has a pop radio feel to it. Nice music bed. Pitch this to Leon. You two work well together.
I like it Brandon. Thanks for sharing,

thank you for listening! Don't you think Leon would be sick of working with me? *chuckles* thanks for the encouragement [ Reply to This ]
Cool! &mdash 04/05/07 - 02:06:30 PM
Very nice! I loved the cool "music box" sound that starts it and shows up again towards the end, but what really impressed me was that once you got into that "U2 meets the Pet Shop Boys" groove, I thought I basically knew the song, but you kept surprising me with interesting musical changes and stops and things. It sounds very professional. What are you using for keyboards/sounds?
By the way, my favorite part is the little "boink" noise about two-thirds of the way through! Makes me smile!
Good job!

I am glad you enjoyed this! Basically for the keyboards I used a lot of distorted analog mixed with amps and flangers. It gives it a distinct unique sound. [ Reply to This ]

I have the nagging suspicion you got lyrics for this one, Brandon!
Sounds like a winner to me. [ Reply to This ]

Good to hear from ya buddy. I've been away for too long and it just felt great to make some music again. Your suspicions are correct, I am in the process of writing lyrics, they just aren't quite finished yet. Thanks for stopping by! [ Reply to This ]

Do pitch this to Leon. You guys are aces together. If it's not broke don't fix it. Great tuneage in need of soaring vocals. I like this a lot.
Be well! [ Reply to This ]

Someone else mentioned this having a (pop) radio feel to it and that is quite true. This definitely has "commercial" appeal and I mean that as the highest form of compliment. :) [ Reply to This ]

This song creates it's own lyrics as you listen to it. It is an amazing piece that is inspirational mixed with motivational. LOL Really cool song man.

I love how it starts off with twinkling stars and then builds with a controlled anticipation. Great dynamics. Very well paced with time to take a breath hear and there. Interesting all the way through. I love the heavy part in the middle especially. Great tones all the way around. The bass is thumping hard and I love it! [ Reply to This ]

sound on this.. I expected to hear Abba in parts at the beginning. I Love all the lush sounds beat and everything. Great for listening and dancing. I know I'm late listening to this ,but I hadn't heard you until I saw you comment in the furum, so thought I'd take a listen to what you do. So glad I dropped by and I'll be back. This is for Download, thank you, M [ Reply to This ]
Great tune &mdash 08/01/07 - 07:50:54 PM
In my opinion dance tunes are easy to write but hard to make interesting. Anyone can lay a couple loops down, but you managed to make this energetic and let it breathe in the right places. Like it a lot. Good stuff!
